Free Bat Amigurumi Crochet Pattern
Spikey the Bat
Create a cute amigurumi bat with this free bat crochet pattern! Spikey the Bat is an easy beginner-friendly crochet pattern that’s perfect for Halloween decorations, spooky gifts, or anyone who loves crocheting cute bats and amigurumi animals.
I made the bat shown here with sport-weight cotton yarn, which gives a finished size of approximately 9 inches (22 cm). This pattern can be made with any yarn you like, use thicker yarn and a larger crochet hook to create a much larger bat plush. The pattern is written in U.S. crochet terms and includes clear step-by-step instructions.

A little story about Spikey the Bat:
Spikey loves quiet evenings when the stars begin to appear. Every night, he glides through the moonlit sky, searching for hidden places and listening to the peaceful sounds of the forest. He’s always happy to share his favorite secret spots with his friends.
