For a large plush lemon (6 inch/14 cm), use super bulky chenille yarn & 5 mm (H/8) crochet hook.
For a small keychain-sized lemon (2 inch/6 cm), use sport-weight yarn & 2.5 mm (B/1) crochet hook.
Both versions are made with the exact same pattern below, just change your yarn and hook size to get the look you want.

Materials:
These are the materials that I used. However, feel free to replace them with other materials of your choice. Furthermore, if you wish to crochet a larger or smaller version of this toy plushie using this free lemon amigurumi crochet pattern, you can simply use a thicker or thinner yarn and crochet hook.
Cotton Sport Weight keychain version 2 inch / 6 cm:
– Yarn and Colors Must Have Yellow cotton color: 013
– Yarn and Colors Must Have Green cotton color: 123
– Yarn and Colors Must Have Black cotton color: 100
– Synthetic Poly Filling
– Crochet hook size B/1 (2.5 mm)
Chenille Super Bulky version 6 inch / 14 cm:
– Yellow, Green and Black Chenille yarn
– Synthetic Poly Filling
– Crochet hook size H/8 (5.0 mm)

TIP: Are you using are using Blanket yarn? Then I recommend a L/11 (8 mm) crochet hook.

Free Lemon Crochet Pattern
Lemon
- Use yellow yarn
- Rnd 1: start 6 sc in a magic ring (6)
- Rnd 2: sc in all 6 st (6)
- Rnd 3: inc 6 times (12)
- Rnd 4: (sc, inc in next st) repeat 6 times (18)
- Rnd 5: (sc in next 2 st, inc in next st) repeat 6 times (24)
- Rnd 6: (sc in next 7 st, inc in next st) repeat 3 times (27)
- Rnd 7-13: sc in all 27 st (27)
- Rnd 14: (sc in next 7 st, dec) repeat 3 times (24)
- If you want your lemon to have a face embroider one eye between rounds 7 and 8 and one eye between rounds 12 and 13, the eyes are two stitches long (photo 1-2). Embroider a small mouth between the eyes, over round 10. there are 2 rows between the mouth and the eyes (photo 3).
- Rnd 15: (sc in next 2 st, dec) repeat 6 times (18)
- Rnd 16: (sc, dec in next st) repeat 6 times (12)
- Stuff the lemon with fiberfill and continue stuffing as you go.
- Rnd 17: dec 6 times (6)
- Rnd 18: sc in all 6 st (6)
- Finish the mini lemon amigurumi by taking the last strand of yarn and sewing it through the front loops of every crochet stitch that you made in the last round. Pull the yarn tight to close the hole. Now stick a needle under the hole and weave in the yarn end.
Leaf 2x:
- Use green yarn
- CH 6 (photo 4)
- Row 1: Start in second ch from hook, sc in next st, hdc in next st, dc in next st, hdc in next st, sc in next st (5) (photo 5-6)

- Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.
- Sew the leaves on the side of the lemon.
