Materials:
These are the materials that I used. However, feel free to replace them with other materials of your choice. Furthermore, if you wish to crochet a larger or smaller version of this food toy plushie using this free orange amigurumi crochet pattern, you can simply use a thicker or thinner yarn and crochet hook.
Cotton Sport Weight version 4,5 cm / 2 inch:
– Yarn and Colors Must Have Orange cotton color: 020
– Yarn and Colors Must Have Green cotton color: 083
– Yarn and Colors Must Have Black cotton color: 100
– Synthetic Poly Filling
– Crochet hook size B/1 (2.5 mm)
Chenille Super Bulky version 8 cm / 3 inch:

Rnd: Round
st: stitch
sc: single crochet
sl st: slip stitch
dec: decrease

Free Orange Crochet Pattern
Leaf:
- Use green yarn and crochet a chain
- CH 5 (photo 1)
- Row 1: Start in second ch from hook, sc in next st, hdc in next 2 st, sc in next st (4) (photo 2)
- Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.

Orange:
- Rnd 1: start 6 sc in a magic ring (6)
- Rnd 2: inc 6 times (12)
- Rnd 3: (sc, inc in next st) repeat 6 times (18)
- Sew the leaf on round 1. You can hide the yarn inside the orange.
- Rnd 4: (sc in next 2 st, inc in next st) repeat 6 times (24)
- Rnd 5: (sc in next 3 st, inc in next st) repeat 6 times (30)
- Rnd 6-11: sc in all 30 st (30)
- If you want your orange to have a face, embroider two eyes with black yarn over rounds 8 and 9, with an interspace of 5 stitches. (photo 3-4)
- With black yarn embroider a small mouth (one stitch wide) between rounds 9 and 10 (photo 5).

- Rnd 12: (sc in next 3 st, dec) repeat 6 times (24)
- Rnd 13: (sc in next 2 st, dec) repeat 6 times (18)
- Stuff the orange with fiberfill and continue stuffing as you go.
- Rnd 14: (sc in next st, dec) repeat 6 times (12)
- Rnd 15: dec 6 times (6)
- Finish the head by taking the last strand of yarn and sewing it through the front loops of every crochet stitch that you made in the last round. Pull the yarn tight to close the hole. Now stick a needle under the hole and weave in the yarn end.
