For a mini keychain-sized radish (4 inch/10 cm), use sport-weight cotton yarn & 2.5 mm (B/1) crochet hook.For a large plush radish (7 inch/18 cm), use super bulky chenille yarn & 5 mm (H/8) crochet hook.
Both versions are made with the exact same pattern below, just change your yarn and hook size to get the size you want.

Materials:
These are the materials that I used. However, feel free to replace them with other materials of your choice. Furthermore, if you wish to crochet a larger or smaller version of this toy plushie using this free pear amigurumi crochet pattern, you can simply use a thicker or thinner yarn and crochet hook.
Cotton Sport Weight version 4 inch / 10 cm:
– Yarn and Colors Must Have Dark Pink cotton color: 033
– Yarn and Colors Must Have Green cotton color: 123
– Yarn and Colors Must Have White cotton color: 001
– Yarn and Colors Must Have Black cotton color: 100
– Synthetic Poly Filling
– Crochet hook size B/1 (2.5 mm)
Chenille Super Bulky version 7 inch / 18 cm:
– Green, Dark Pink, White and Black Chenille yarn
– Synthetic Poly Filling
– Crochet hook size H/8 (5.0 mm)

– Tapestry needles with blunt point, nr. 16 or 17

TIP: Are you using are using Blanket yarn? Then I recommend a L/11 (8 mm) crochet hook.

Rnd: Round
st: stitch

Free Radish Crochet Pattern
Radish:
- Start with dark pink yarn
- Rnd 1: start 6 sc in a magic ring (6)
- Rnd 2: inc 6 times (12)
- Rnd 3: (sc in next st, inc in next st) repeat 6 times (18)
- Rnd 4: (sc in next 2 st, inc in next st) repeat 6 times (24)
- Rnd 5-9: sc in all 24 st (24)
- If you want your radish to have a face, embroider two eyes with black yarn over rounds 6 and 7, with an interspace of 5 stitches (photo 1-3).
- With black yarn embroider a small mouth (one stitch wide) between rounds 7 and 8 (photo 4).

- Stuff the radish with fiberfill and continue stuffing as you go.
- Change to white yarn (photo 5-8)

- Rnd 10: (sc in next 2 st, dec) repeat 6 times (18)
- Rnd 11: (sc in next st, dec) repeat 6 times (12)
- Rnd 12: dec 6 times (6)
- Rnd 13: dec 3 times (3)
- Fasten off, leaving a yarn tail. Pull the yarn tail apart (photo 9)

Radish leaf 3x:
- Use green yarn
- CH 12
- Row 1: Start in second ch from hook, slst in next 4 st, sc + hdc in next st, 2 dc in next st, hdc + sc in next st, sc + hdc in next st, 2 dc in next 2 st, hdc + 2 sc + hdc in next st,
continue in the other side of the foundation chain,
hdc + dc in next st, 2 dc in next st, hdc + sc in next st, sc + hdc in next st, 2 dc in next st, hdc + sc in next st, slst in next st (33) - Fasten off, leaving a long yarn tail for sewing.
- Sew the leaves on the top of the radish.
