Free Suzan the Snail Crochet Pattern

This free snail crochet pattern shows you how to make an adorable amigurumi snail that was originally published in my book Amigurumi Made Easy, and is now available for everyone to enjoy. This cute snail is perfect for beginners, works up easily, and can be made with any yarn you like.

When crocheted with sport weight cotton yarn, the snail measures about 6 inch / 16 cm, but if you use super bulky yarn, it turns into a fun giant plush snail.

The spiral shell is made with two strands of yarn at the same time, and I’ve included a full video tutorial to guide you through every step. Whether you’re new to amigurumi or love creating larger, squishy crochet animals, this easy snail pattern is a joyful project to add to your collection.

A little story about Suzan the Snail:

Suzan the snail is a curious little creature who loves nothing more than to explore her surroundings. She lives in a beautiful garden filled with flowers of every color, and whenever she has the chance, she climbs up to the top of the tallest bloom to get a better view of the world around her. The beautiful views are always worth the long, slow climb.
